AJ Student Prize 2026
The Architects’ Journal is now inviting tutors from all ARB- and RIBA-accredited architecture schools across the UK to enter the AJ Student Prize 2026. Each school may submit one final-year undergraduate project and one final-year postgraduate project, showcasing the very best emerging architectural talent from across the country.
We actively encourage entries that engage with sustainability in its broadest sense – environmental, social, or both. Following the integration of the sustainability category into the main awards two years ago, sustainable thinking now sits at the heart of the AJ Student Prize.
All submitted projects will be featured in the AJ’s annual student issue, published in September, offering national exposure for both students and schools. A panel of leading architects and industry figures will then select this year’s winning undergraduate and postgraduate projects, with the winners announced at a special prize-giving event in October.
Free to enter, the AJ Student Prize is a major platform for celebrating the next generation of architects and the schools shaping the future of the profession. The 2026 AJ Student Prize is sponsored by Marley.
